Justin Joseph Herzig

Justin Joseph Herzig, 18, was taken too soon from us by an auto accident on July 18, 2011 in Henry County, Ohio. He was born September 2, 1992 in Oregon, Ohio. His surviving adopted parents are Wade and Joyce Herzig living in Michigan. Also surviving Justin are his sisters, Angela and Jill and his brothers Terry, John and Ryan. Justin moved to Swanton, Ohio in February of 2011 and attended his junior year of High School at Swanton High School. He attended Westgate Chapel in Sylvania, Ohio, where he helped with the Mens Breakfast once a month. He moved from Milford Michigan where he attended Milford High School and Oak Pointe Church in Wixom.Justin was always happy and giving, seeking to make the people around him smile. He enjoyed helping others and he was good with children, especially at summer Vacation Bible School. He liked playing basketball and talking to his friends at Swanton Park.The family is planning a Celebration Service at the Heritage Church of God,3520 Strayer Rd Maumee, Ohio, on Saturday, July 23rd at 4:30 pm. Justin was a very special young man who will be deeply missed by all that knew him. He is smiling down on us with Grandpa and Jesus from heaven. Online condolences may be shared below:
