June E. Abernathy

June Etta Abernathy, age 73, passed from this life on December 1, 2022, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. She was born March 28, 1949 in Toledo, OH to parents, Carrie L. and George Abernathy, Sr. June attended Gunckel Elementary School and Libbey High School.

She is survived by children, Tracie (Richard Pettaway) Abernathy, Carrietta (Donald) Robinson, and Golladay Landreth Golladay; grandchildren, Tony Ticey Jr., Tobias Abernathy, Sr., Tyland Abernathy, Sr., Diamond Moore, Ceyleon Damron, and Ettinne Kennedy Bey; great granddaughters, Ta’Niyah Abernathy and Cho’Zen Abernathy; great grandsons, Tobias “TJ” Abernathy, Jr., Charles Abernathy, and Tyland “JuJu” Abernathy, Jr.; brother, Byron “Peter” Abernathy and sister, Jean Flowers.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Carrie and George Abernathy; son, William Marcus Golladay; daughter, Teresa Abernathy; brothers, George Abernathy, Jr., Edward Abernathy, and Charles Abernathy.

Her death is not the end she will be forever loved and missed.
