Julianne "Julie" Hurt

Julianne "Julie" (Wilkinson) Hurt, aged 77, of Toledo, OH, passed peacefully on March 28, 2024 from this life and into the loving arms of Jesus. She was born on June 22, 1946 to Alfred and Elizabeth (Julien) Wilkinson. Julie was strong in her Christian faith and was a member of the Lighthouse Community Church. She was a loving caregiver, had a love for being in the sun, traveling, and continuous studies of the bible.

She is survived by her children, Don (Laurie) Hurt, Suzie Hurt, Veronica Hurt, Connie (Vince) Semler and Bob (Stacey) Hurt; Grandchildren, Donny, Jordan, Vinnie, Hannah, Grace, Toby, Cindy, Noah, and Hayden; 10 Great Grandchildren; Siblings, Alfred Wilkinson, Mary Patterson, Robert (Joyce) Wilkinson, Joseph (Susan) Wilkinson, James (Elaine) Wilkinson, Jeanne Durbin, and Philip (Monica) Wilkinson; Sister-in-laws, Shirley Starr, Shelba Fisher, Brenda Ballmer and Sandy Paul; along with lots of family and friends. Preceding her in death was her husband, Don; mother and father; sisters, Anne Wilkinson and Bonnie Wilkinson; brothers-in-law, Corwin Starr, Bill Fisher, and Jay Paul.

Her family wants to thank the staff at Hospice of NW Ohio and St. Anne's Hospital, as well as the Cremation Society of Toledo.

A Celebration of Life for Julie will be held on Friday, May 10, 2024 from 3 pm-8 pm at Trilby Park Shelter House, 3125 Shawnee Rd. Toledo, Ohio 43613.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to The ALS Association Northern Ohio Chapter.
