Judith Ann Nofziger

Judy A. Nofziger, age 81, of Toledo Ohio passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 20, 2021, at the Vibrant Life Cottage. Judy was an excellent cook, she enjoyed antiquing and bowling. More than anything she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grand and great grandchildren. Her smile was infectious, and her spirit and caring nature will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Judy was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. Her passion towards animals began early in her life, she could never look the other way when she saw a hungry animal. She took in all strays – cats, dogs, squirrels and a pigeon. Her photo album has just as many animal photos as family. Judy is survived by her children Michael (Janet) Grimes and Mary Beth (Chris) Kurtz. Grandchildren Rachael (Dustin) Brighton, Theodore Kurtz, Samantha (Ian) Shankster, Hunter (Leah) Grimes and Jerod (Alexis) Grimes and 7 great grandchildren. Her younger brother Jim LaVigne and her beloved cat Molly B. In addition to her parents, Judy was preceded in death by her brother Lary LaVigne. Judy’s last days were blessed by the loving care of Shawntell, Nicole and Brianna. The family would like to express their sincere gratitude for all their love, kindness and compassion.
