Judith Ann (Brown) Carr, 76, died on November 17, 2025, peacefully in her home, surrounded by her loving family. Judy was born in Toledo, Ohio on December 28, 1948 to Montrose and Jane Brown. She married the love of her life, Jimmy Carr, on April 24, 1967.
Judy attended Lake High School and Penta Career Center. She was a stay at home mom for many years, before working at Ohio Citizens/National City bank, for 19 years. After retiring from the bank, she worked at The Anderson’s General Store, for many years.
Judy loved spending time with her family, especially her grandkids and great-grandkids, who were the center of her world. She loved to travel with her husband, Jimmy, and their favorite vacation spot was Hawaii, which they visited four times.
Judy is preceded in death by her parents, Montrose and Jane Brown; brothers, Gene (Linda) Brown and Walter Brown. She is survived by her loving husband, Jimmy Carr; son Jeff (Missy) Carr; and daughter, Jodi (Robert) Gilsdorf; grandchildren, Nikkole (Gary) Tippie, Jessica (Aaron) Brown, Jenna (Anthony) Abraham, Robbie (Tenayah) Gilsdorf, Dylan (Kennedy) Gilsdorf; and 7 great-grandchildren.
Judith will be lovingly remembered by her family and friends for her loving, caring ways and for being the most special wife, mom, grandma "grammy" and friend.
A celebration of life will be held at the Swanton Church of the Nazarene, at 315 W. Airport Hwy, Swanton, Ohio, on December 6, 2025, at 11:00 am.
