Judith Ann Bruno

Judith (Judy) Ann Bruno, born on May 21, 1947, to Walter and Rebecca Taube, passed away on February 21, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love and compassion. Judy, a former hairdresser turned nurse assistant, dedicated her life to caring for others at Elizabeth Scott Nursing Home until her retirement.

She is survived by her children, Heather Smolinski and Brandon Gott; siblings, Jacqulin (Jackie) Bruno, and Walter (Butch) Taube; stepson, Jeff Bruno; grandchildren, Alexa Carmody, Morgan Smolinski, and Alex Gott; and step-grandchildren, Brandon, Melissa, and Brooke.

Judy's nurturing spirit extended beyond her profession, evident in her love for cooking and devotion to her family. Her 30-year marriage to Irvin Bruno was filled with shared adventures, particularly in Las Vegas and Dunedin, where they often traveled alongside Jackie and her husband Bud. The sisters' unique bond, marrying brothers, fostered a closeness that enriched their travels and lives with shared laughter and cherished moments.

Judy's memory will forever reside in the hearts of those she touched, her legacy of kindness and love enduring beyond her passing. She joins her beloved husband, Irvin Bruno; departed siblings, Betty Ruth Pleiss and Thomas Taube; and her stepsons, Mike Bruno, Mark Bruno, and Steve Bruno in eternal peace.
