Joyce A. Thompson

Joyce (Geitgey)Thompson, age 76, of Toledo, passed away peacefully at 1:40 p.m. on April 15th at Addison Heights in Maumee.

Joyce was born to the late Harold Geitgey and June Walker on January 20th 1947.

Joyce was a #1 fan of the bands 3 Dog Night and Alabama. She followed them and went to a lot of their concerts through her younger years. She enjoyed talking on the phone for hours to her friends and family. Most of all she loved the Lord and spent a lot of time watching her Christian programs.

Joyce is survived by her sister, Linda (Ronnie) Piranio; many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Bill Geitgey and great nephews, Chad and Chanceler.
