Joe

Joseph “Joe" Raymond Zdunczyk, age 85, entered into his eternal rest on Tuesday, December 14, 2021. A lifelong resident of Toledo, OH and FT Myers Beach, FL, Joe had a 70 year career in writing and recording music for RCA, performing in his band The Cavallier’s and later The Joe Raymond Trio. He also taught music in the parochial school system and 45 years at Penguin Music. Joe is survived by his wife of 65 years, Joanne (Lukasik); daughter, Denise Snyder (husband Bob) of Woodville, OH; son, Donald Zdunczyk, (Pam) of Connecticut. He also leaves 3 grandchildren, Katie (Mike), Brian (Andrea) and Patrick (Stephanie); 6 great-grandchildren, Matthew, Landry, Jenna, Josie, Archie and Penny; sisters, Gloria, Rose and Joyce; sister-in-law, Phyllis; husband Jim, as well as several nieces and nephews. Joe was predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Philomena (Szymanski) Zdunczyk and his brother, Francis Zdunczyk. A Celebration of Life will take place on Thursday, January 6th, 2022, 11:00 am at Regina Coeli, 530 Regina Pkwy, Toledo, OH 43612.
