Joseph Riba

Joseph F Riba, age 68 of Toledo, died Saturday February 12, 2011. He was born in Toledo February 15, 1942 to Joseph and Lucille (Heilman) Riba. Joe attended St. Rose Catholic School in Perrysburg, then graduated from LibbeyHigh School, class of 1962 after which he joined the U.S. Air Force and served 3 years. After leaving the service, heworked at Andersons for 35 years. In 2003 he moved to Ft Myers, Florida and worked for Sky Chef Corp. There he received many awards for outstanding employee of the year and then returned to this area in November 2010.Joe is survived by his daughter JoAnna (Rob) Madlinski of Maumee, Monica (Scott) Caffee of Toledo, sons Israel Riba of California and Corey (Sherry) Riba of Italy and sister Mary (Riba) Heenan of Ft.Myers Florida, eleven grandchildren, and several aunts and uncles and many cousins. He was preceded in death by both parents, brother James “Skip” Riba and son Chad Riba. The family will hold a private service.
