Joseph Patrick Maniak

Joseph Patrick Maniak, age 54, passed away after a brief illness. Born on April 19, 1967 to Ralph and Marita Maniak, he was the third of three close-knit brothers. Joe attended Reynolds Elementary, McTigue Junior High School and Rogers High School, graduating in 1985. Joe spent the bulk of his adult life working and living within the Bittersweet Farms autistic adult community. His passions were model rocketry, rock and roll music, computers, pizza and horror movies. With great delight he would recall his trip to Evans City, PA where “Night of the Living Dead” was filmed. Joe was preceded in death by his father. He is survived by his mother; brothers, Steven (Barbara) and Michael (Lauren); and seven nieces and nephews.
