Joseph W. Hill

Joseph William Hill, age 53, of Delta, Ohio, was called to heaven to be with the lord on September 23, 2023.

Joe was born on December 31, 1969, son of Nancy (Banghart) Hill. Joe received his GED and took some college courses. Joe accomplished many things throughout his lifetime. When he was younger, he owned his own roofing business and later earned a certificate of completion for his commercial driver’s license training, through Berks Technical Institute. After earning his CDL, he was able to drive trucks and enjoyed this very much, until an accident he was involved in. Because of this, he switched career paths and was most recently employed with Haas Doors, in Wauseon, Ohio.

In his spare time, Joe enjoyed fishing, boating, and traveling to Pennsylvania to spend quality time with his sisters. He was a hard worker. Joe knew that Tina, his wife, had certain things she wanted done and he made sure to get them done. He worked hard at getting the backyard fenced in for the dogs, and even built a deck in the back yard for family to enjoy. He had a love for his pets, especially his best buddy, Molly. Tina would always find Molly lying with Joe. He loved taking all the dogs; Brea, Molly and Cletus, to run and swim at the reservoir.

Joe leaves behind his loving wife, of 15 years, Tina; stepsons, David, Zack, and Kody; siblings, Tina (Jay), Tammy, and Larry; many step grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Nancy, and his son, Brian.

In accordance with Joe's wishes, a private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
