Jonathan "Buzz" Price

October 3, 1950 — June 28, 2024

Jonathan "Buzz" Price, beloved father, husband, grandfather, and friend, passed away on June 28, 2024 after a short battle with cancer, leaving behind a legacy of laughter, kindness, and boundless energy.

Known for his vibrant personality, Buzz was a force of nature—loud in voice yet gentle in spirit. His warmth and generosity touched the lives of all who knew him. Whether he was sharing stories over a meal, cheering at family gatherings, or watching some type of sporting event, he approached life with an infectious enthusiasm that was truly his own.

Born on October 3, 1950 in Youngstown, Ohio, Buzz grew up an avid outdoorsman and eventually became an Eagle Scout. As a young adult, he enjoyed traveling and learning about the world, spending parts of his life living in Finland, Luxembourg, Albuquerque, and Denver before finally settling down in the city he loved and considered home, Bowling Green, Ohio. An avid sports fan, he found joy in watching nearly every sport at any level, from professional hockey down to his grandchildren's recreational soccer games. He also loved cooking, spending time with his family, and taking trips with his wife, Mary. His zest for life was evident in every conversation and every adventure he embarked upon. Buzz was a beacon of positivity, always ready with a joke or a helping hand.

He leaves behind a legacy of love and memories cherished by his wife, Mary Price; children, Jake Price and Sarah Tilton; and two grandchildren, Tommy and Leila Tilton. His spirit lives on in each of them, a reminder of the impact one person can have on the lives of others. Buzz will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. Though he is no longer with us, his laughter, kindness, and energy will continue to inspire and uplift us.

The family will be holding a private celebration of Buzz's life. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Bowling Green Youth Hockey Association. Forever in our hearts, Buzz will be remembered as a loving husband, devoted father, and cherished friend.
