Johnnie Sackman

Johnnie J Sackman, age 70, of Rossford Ohio, passed away Sunday July 3, 2016 in the comfort of Hospice among his family and friends. He was born in Toledo Ohio on April 19, 1946 to John and Doris Sackman. John proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam war and later held rank of Corporal. He retired from General Motors after 38 years. Johns selflessness, genuine friendship and quick wit gave him the ability to touch the lives of so many around him. He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Judy Doran and Kathy Courterier. John leaves behind his wife, Dyann (Rochte) Sackman, his son and daughter Devon (Lauren) and Danielle Sackman, his 6 grandchildren, and nephew Kristopher Doran. A memorial service will be held Saturday July 30, 2016 from 3:00pm-8:00pm at the Rossford FOE on Lime City Rd.
