John Zabowski

John Zabowski, age 75, of Napoleon, OH, passed away on January 1, 2026.

He was born on August 2, 1950, to John and Irma Zabowski.

John was a great artist and spent much of his time painting and drawing. He was always working on something interesting. He loved animals and nature. He worked at The Andersons and started at the Feed Mill in the 1970’s and later retired from the Grain Division. He also helped to manage the Whitehouse Christmas Tree Farm in the 1990’s.

John is preceded in death by his parents, oldest son Jeffery, and brothers Michael and Danny. He is survived by his son Jonathan, sister, Jean Pennell, brothers Chris (Connie) and Joe (Sue). He is also survived by his uncle David and aunt Louise Watts, many nieces, nephews, cousins, longtime friends, and beloved dogs Zip and Grace.

The family will hold a private service and memorial dinner to honor John. He will truly be missed by those who loved him.

The family also wishes to thank the staff at UTMC, Toledo Hospital, and Old Orchard Rehab Center for all of their care and support.
