John Allen Smith

John Allen Smith, age 79, passed away on Monday Jan. 24, 2011 at Flower Hospital. He served his country in US Marine Corp. John married the love of his life, Susan Welsh on Feb. 4, 1978. They enjoyed nearly 34 years together. They were a living example of true love and the two were inseparable. He was an avid bowler even bowling a 300 at one time. He also enjoyed many trips to Las Vegas with Susan. John was a dedicated family man. His greatest joy in life was his grandchildren.He is survived by his sons, Mike, Brian, Paul, and Scott Cowdrey; 15 Grandchildren; one great grandchild; 3 brothers; and a sister. He was preceded in death by his wife.There will be no services. Arrangements by the Cremation Society of Toledo. Online condolences may be shared below:
