John T.W. Rice

John T. W. Rice passed away peacefully in his home on June 7, 2025, with family at his bedside. He was born September 9, 1961, to John and Rosemary (Prater) Rice in San Diego, California. His family later moved to Toledo, Ohio, where he was raised and started a family of his own. He worked in construction and surface mining.

John enjoyed playing music, singing karaoke with his family and taking his children and grandchildren fishing.

John was preceded in death by his daughter, Gabrielle Rice; parents, Rosemary (Ronald) Miller, John Rice; and brothers, Danny and David Rice. He is survived by his beloved wife of twenty-three years, Delta Marks; six beautiful daughters, Melissa (Tony) Arnold, Jennifer (Keith) Bonds, Diane Rice, Jessica Rice, Patience Rice and Skyler Rice; fifteen grandchildren; siblings, Sue Frasier, Joyce Harris, Marjorie Miller, Pam Miller, John Miller, and Donald Miller; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

There will not be any services per his wishes. The family will have a celebration of life at a later time. John will be missed by many.
