John Richard Pollex, Sr.

John Richard Pollex Sr., resident of Millbury, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, at the age of 55. John was born on May 18, 1970, in Bangkok, Thailand. He attended Raymer Elementary and Waite High School. An accomplished salesman, he was a loving and caring father, and passionate about sports, music and movies like the Dodgers, Rush, and westerns.

John is survived by his children, John "Jay" Jr., of Toledo, Ohio, Cole, of Columbia, Maryland, Abigail, of Bowling Green, Ohio; his parents, Richard and Darla Pollex; his brothers, Joe, James (Shannon); sister, Kathleen (Monem); and his nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Raymond and Dorothy Pollex; and brother Ron Sritongkul.

A celebration of life will be held at Lemoyne Baptist Church, 25020 Bradner Rd, Genoa, OH 43430, on Saturday, October 18, 2025, from 12:00-5:00pm.

The celebration of life is a casual gathering for the grieving family and friends to honor John and bid farewell and to share memories and stories, light food and beverage will be provided.
