John R. Pierson, Jr.

John R. Pierson, Jr., age 79, of Stryker, Ohio, passed away on October 6, 2024, in his home, surrounded by his loving family.

John was a graduate of Springfield High School, in Holland, Ohio, and was employed as a forklift operator and mechanic. In his spare time, John enjoyed playing cards games with his family and friends. He especially loved the game of euchre! John was fond of music and liked listening to polka, country, and classic rock. He will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved him.

John R. Pierson, Jr., was born on February 23, 1945, in Toledo, Ohio, the son of John R. and Viola (Glick) Pierson, Sr.

Left to cherish John’s memory include his loving wife, Ada “Sis” Pierson; children, John (Staci), Brian (Melissa), Jason (Kim), Kristy (Zachary), and Brandon (Laura); 15 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren; and brother, Gary (Debbie) Yoos.

A private burial will be held at Swanton Cemetery.
