John Michael Broderick

John Michael Broderick, age 75, of Rossford, Ohio, passed away peacefully on January 2, 2025, due to complications from two stage 4 cancers. He was born on January 29, 1949, in Toledo, Ohio, to the late Marie Joan Shea and Edward Broderick.

John was a graduate of Bowling Green State University and enjoyed a life filled with laughter, family, and the outdoors. He had a knack for storytelling, often finding himself chuckling along with his own tales. Family was paramount to John, and he cherished the times spent together, especially the Shea family reunions. He loved anything involving water, from fishing with his late father and his children on Lake Erie to simply enjoying its scenic beauty. He also enjoyed the camaraderie of card games, particularly euchre, and long, scenic drives.

John was a devoted father to Jared, Sean, Megan, and Rebecca, and a loving grandfather to seven grandchildren. He leaves behind his siblings, Tom, Tim, and Patti. He was preceded in death by his brother, Joe, and sister, Mary, as well as his parents.

A small private memorial service for the family was held on January 9th.

In accordance with John's wishes, he was cremated, and his ashes will be scattered in Lake Erie, a place he held dear.
