John Phillip Bailey

John Phillip Bailey went home to the Lord on June 24, 2020. He was born in Toledo, Ohio on January 13, 1952 to Lucile and John Christopher Bailey. He was a 1971 graduate of Rogers High School. John was an engineer at Springfield Township Fire Department Station #1 from 1972-1984 and volunteered for 15-16 years. He also worked for the road maintenance department for 30 years. John was a devoted husband and father. He loved to fish, hunt and play horseshoes. He was preceded in death by his parents; step-father, Nilo Able; in-laws, Dolores (Kenny) Zeigler; brother, Donny Bailey; sister, Marilyn; and daughter, Carol Bailey. He is survived by his beloved wife of 50 years, Barbara Bailey; children, Kendra (Billy) Eckhart and Phillip Bailey; sister, June; father-in-law, Earl (Michaline) Armbrust; grandchildren, Tracey (Andrew) Baughman, Austin Brewer, Faith Bailey, Jasmine and Jacob Eckhart; great-grandchildren, Kristiana and Isiah Baughman, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
