Joe Ann Castle

Joe Ann Castle was born on October 19, 1943 in the town of Raymond, WA. Before her retirement in 2009, Joe Ann was a local community organizer for over a decade and a property manager for twenty years. Before these careers, during the late 1960s, she attempted to break into the entertainment industry as a singer/songwriter in Nashville, TN. She professionally recorded four songs on two 45 RPM records before giving up on this early dream. Joe Ann’s favorite hobbies were playing bingo and squaring off against any one-armed bandit within driving distance. She was also an inveterate specter at just about any garage sale she came across, always looking for a good haggle. Joe Ann died peacefully at her home on February 24, 2020, at the age of 76. She was the mother of seven. She was preceded in death by three of her children: Tommy, Sheryl, and Joseph. She is survived by four of her children: Kathy, Debi, David, and Jeff.
