Joanne K. Kapnick

Joanne K. Kapnick, age 77, of Maumee, Ohio passed away on January 13, 2023 in Toledo. She was born on July 16, 1945, to Arthur and Christine (Cohrs) Kapnick.

Joanne graduated from Adrian High School. She graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in business from the University of Toledo.

She was proud to be a part of the Andersons Corporation and family. She retired from being the executive assistant to Dick Anderson for 32 years.

Joanne enjoyed watching football, especially University of Michigan games. She loved going to the casino and playing her favorite slot machines.

She was a dog lover and shared her life with many special dogs. Joanne enjoyed vacationing at the beach and Palm Desert.

Joanne had a wonderful sense of humor. Her family and friends will miss her greatly.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Janice (Kapnick) Clark and Judith (Kapnick) Ehinger; and niece Jennifer (Victor) Putirka. Joanne is survived by her sister, Jean (James) Frye; nieces, Janine (Frye) Keeton, Julie (Frye) Harris, Janelle (Victor) Elarton, and Jolene (Victor) Carson; nephews, Jeffrey Frye and Michael Ehinger; and many great nieces, great nephews and cousins.

A private memorial gathering will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions will be gratefully accepted by the family.
