Joanne E Arquette

Joanne Arquette, 88 of Swanton, Ohio passed away February 27, 2026 in Hospice of Sylvania, OH. Joanne was born June 30, 1937 to Ralph and Elnora (Ford) Sallows in Royalton Township, OH.

Joanne graduated from Morenci High School in June 1955. She married her high school sweetheart, Melvin Arquette, in Morenci on June 19, 1955.

Joanne went to University of Toledo and graduated with a Associates Degree in Library Science and later with an Associates Degree in Real Estate. She worked at Morenci Middle School for 13 years as librarian. After earning her degree in Real Estate she worked for Marjorie Burk (Morenci Real Estate) and then Goedert Company in Adrian until her retirement in 2000. Melvin & Joanne sold their home in Morenci and moved to Weslaco, TX. In August 2025 she moved to Swanton, Ohio to reside with her daughter.

Joanne is preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Arquette; parents, Ralph & Elnora Sallows; grandson, Matthew Wilson; and great-grandson, Kyle Wilson.

She is survived by her daughters, Kim (Rob) Fulton of Swanton, OH and Kris (Dennis) Swartz of Waldron, MI; son, Kevin (Pam) Arquette of Morenci, MI; special friend, Elroy Bohach of Victoria, TX; grandchildren, Brad (Kristy) Turnwald of Saline, MI, Brian (Kimberly) Turnwald of Morenci, MI, Lori (Todd) Bettinger of Metamora, OH, Michael (Michelle) Fulton of Lyons, OH and Jennifer (Josh) Meade of Lyons, OH; as well as 17 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren.

Cremation has taken place at Joanne's request and a private graveside services will be held at a later date in Oatgrove Cementary in Morenci, MI.
