Jerry James Pelton

Jerry James Pelton passed away at home on Wednesday May 27, 2020 at the age of 57 while under the care of hospice and his family. He was born January 3, 1963 to Jerry Carl Pelton and Julia Gonzales Pelton. He was proud to be a Sylvania resident. He enjoyed spending time outdoors, running, kayaking, and camping. His favorite place to camp was Hudson Lake. He also loved music, including playing in the drum circle and going to concerts. His favorite band was Santana. He also played the guitar regularly. Jerry will be deeply missed by his mother Julia Pelton; daughter Dannielle (Nick) DeCair; sister Patricia Pelton; brothers John (Theresa) Pelton, Joe Pelton; four grandchildren Emelia, Jackson, Nicholas, and Baker; nephew Lucas Ryan; close friends Anna Hillabrand, Doug Molson, Rob Cross, and many other friends and family. Jerry was preceded in death by his father Jerry Carl Pelton. Per Jerrys wishes he was cremated. We will have a celebration of life at a later date. We would like to give thanks to all of the kind, caring workers and nurses who helped Jerry to stay in his home.
