Jerry "Corn Dog" Lee
Moreland
May 29, 1953 — Aug 10, 2026
Toledo, Ohio
Jerry Lee “Corn Dog” Moreland, 73, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away at home on August 10, 2026.
Jerry was born May 29, 1953, to John W. Moreland and Cleta Z. (Woodruff) Moreland. He was one of seven children and spent many years working at Gutter Suppliers in Temperance, Michigan.
Known to many as “Corn Dog,” a nickname given to him by his grandmother that stayed with him throughout his life, Jerry loved to joke around and poke fun at the people around him. He loved music and singing, cheering on his Dallas Cowboys and Cleveland Browns, and could always be found working on one of his cars or enjoying a nice cold beer and a cigarette on the front porch. Family and friends may also remember the jukebox parties at Uncle Bob’s back in the day—good music, good company, and plenty of memories.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, John W. and Cleta Z. Moreland; his wife, Pamela S. “Pam” (Gill) Moreland; his daughter, Carrie L. (Moreland) Gray; and his brothers, John, Rocky, Richard, and Thomas Moreland.
He is survived by his son, Jerry Moreland; son-in-law, John Gray; sisters, Connie (Tim) and Patricia; grandchildren, Desiree, Justin, Makayla, and Stephanie; great-grandchildren, Taylor, Loya, and Ava; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and friends.
Jerry will be remembered for his sense of humor, his love of music and football, the jokes and stories he shared, and the many everyday moments that became treasured memories for those who knew and loved him.
