Jenny L. Whitfield

Jenny Lea Whitfield, age 61 years old, passed away on September 22, 2023, at Promedica Ebeid Hospice, in Sylvania, Ohio. Jenny attended Sylvania Southview High School and was employed with Canberra Corporation until her retirement. Jenny enjoyed family game nights, fishing, and watching NASCAR races. Her favorite racer was Kyle Busch. She was also a big Michigan football fan. You’d often hear her say “Go Blue!” to any fellow wolverine lovers. In her spare time, Jenny volunteered at the Toledo Humane Society. She was an animal lover of all kinds, especially to her fur baby girl, Chica.

Jenny Lea Whitfield was born on September 9, 1962, in Sylvania, Ohio, the daughter of Thomas Waganfeald and Joan (Wheeldon) Reimschusel.

Left to cherish Jenny’s memory include her children, Lisa (Kurt) Letson, and Nick (Amanda) Mosher; grandchildren, Destinee, Kurt, Jr., Austin, Lucas, Tristian, Emma, and Lauren; mother, Joan Reimschusel; siblings, Tina (Kim) Blankley, Jeff (Karen) Waganfeald, Tammy Bristol, Tracy (Don) Fox, and Amy Waganfeald; special friend, Larry Waller; and many nieces and nephews. Jenny is preceded in death by her father, Thomas Waganfeald; and one nephew, Brandon Waganfeald.

A gathering of friends will be held on October 9, 2023, from 4:00-7:00pm, at the Walker Funeral Home, Holland-Springfield Chapel, 7438 Airport Hwy, Holland, OH 43528. A memorial service will follow directly after.
