Jennifer Mary Rippke

Jennifer Mary Rippke, age 45, passed away on February 19, 2017 after her courageous battle with Neuroendocrine Carcinoma (NET) for the past three years. Thanks to the generosity of an organ donor, Jennifer was able to receive a multivisceral organ transplant on May 29, 2015. They replaced her pancreas, liver, stomach, and duodenum therefore she was a strong advocate for organ donation. She was a compassionate, caring, courageous, and selfless person. She was always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need, a true inspiration to those who surrounded her. She loved spending time with her family and friends. Her gift of joy, shown through her constant smiling, laughter, and joking around, will never be forgotten. Jennifer was born on October 7, 1971 in Toledo, Ohio to Cassandra R. LaCava and Warren D. Botzko. She graduated from Springfield High School/Penta Career Center where she obtained her cosmetology license. Jennifers passion was her career. She was cosmetologist for 27 years. She took pride in her work with clients; developing many long term friendships. Her surviving family members are numerous, but mainly include: Husband of 25 years: Brent Rippke Mother of 2 Children: Kayla Swartzlander (husband Derek) and Zach Rippke Grandmother to 2: Izebelle and Ezra Swartzlander Immediate family: Mother, Cassandra LaCava; Father, Warren Botzko (proceeded by death); Step Father, Doug Eckel (wife Sandy); Sister, Rayna Baumbusch (husband Matt) In-Laws: Cliff and Joan Rippke There will be no services. Close family and friends will gather to celebrate Jennifers life and those she has touched.
