Jeffrey A. Sprouse

Jeffrey A. Sprouse was born at Flower Hospital on June 21, 1963. He passed away peacefully at home alongside his dog, Oreo on Friday, October 15, 2021 in Toledo, Ohio at the age of 58. Jeffrey was full of life, laughter, and the jokester of any room setting. He was known for his many funny punch phrases. He loved to take his loved ones running through the forest, just ask any of them how many trees they’ve ran into. He had many passions including but not limited to hockey. He loved Dallas Stars, Toledo Storm, and Toledo Walleye. He had a love for cars. He enjoyed tinkering on them and racing, whether it be racing his vehicles or watching NASCAR to see his favorite drivers, Bobby Labonte or Tony Stewart. It also transpired into his work life as he was a truck driver, fork lift driver, and a tow truck driver. Before all of these positions Jeffrey worked at Marcos. He delivered pizza to Excel Components. Which is where he decided to fill out an application and he happily got the job! His coworkers at his new employer gave him the nickname Cheesy that his family and friends cherished and carried on throughout his life. However, out of all passions listed he was most passionate about his love for his family, friends, and beloved pet Oreo. He is survived by his children Korissa Maxcy, Jacob Sprouse, and Kristin Sprouse; brother Timothy Sprouse; niece Dawn (Bub) Williams; nephew KJ Newman, and many other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents John and Margaret Sprouse, and sister Cindy Cosgrove. Family and friends are welcome to our Celebration of Life service which will be held Wednesday, October 20th, 2021 from 4:00 - 7:00 P.M. at Walbridge Park Outdoor Shelter, 2761 Broadway St. Toledo, OH 43609.
