Jeffrey B. Jacobs

Jeffrey B. Jacobs., age 51, of Toledo, Ohio, lost his battle with pulmonary fibrosis, and passed away at his home on Thursday, April 20, 2017. He was born on December 18, 1965 in Toledo, Ohio and was a 1985 graduate of Otsego and Penta County High Schools. Jeff is survived by his partner, Tony Vassallo; son, Michael Swincicki; grandchildren, Jovan and Gavin; mother, Sharon Mason; brothers, Todd (Anita) Jacobs, Tony (Julie) Mason; and many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Ronald Jacobs, Sr. and his brother Ronald Jacobs, Jr. Jeff had a passion for cars, music, spending time with friends and family and hitting the dance floor. Carpentry was one of his many gifts and he loved creating and restoring things for himself and others. His charm and humor were just like his smile, infectious and so very contagious. He enjoyed making people laugh and was quite the prankster. His sweet, beautiful soul will be missed by many. Family and friends may celebrate Jeffs life at the Nazareth Hall, 21211 W. River Rd., Grand Rapids, OH, on Sunday, April 30, 2017. Memorial to begin in chapel at 11:00 am and luncheon celebration to follow at noon.
