Obituary

Jeffrey (JackLegg) Jackson was born on March 19, 1962, to Ethel Hamilton and James Jackson, both of Toledo Ohio. Jeffrey was a beloved son, father, uncle, brother and great friend. He touched the lives of many with his warmth, creativity, curiosity and outgoing nature. Jeffrey was a generous friend who possessed an uncanny ability to connect to just about anyone; He never met a stranger. He had a rare gift of building a community wherever he found himself.

Jeffrey attended Nathan Hale Elementary, McTigue Jr. High and graduated from Devilbiss High school, where he played a number of sports. Track and field was his passion. That's where his name "Jack Legg" came from.

The love for his kids, family and friends was unmatched. He loved the Dallas Cowboys and Ohio State Buckeyes. Jeffrey also loved to cook and show his food off on Facebook. He would go over and beyond for anyone.

Jeffrey lived life to the fullest. He was loved by everyone that crossed his path. "STAY SUCKA FREE", ahe would always say.

Jeffrey is survived by his long time companion, Vickie Walls; sister, Willa Manning; brothers, Charles and Grady Jackson; daughters, Tiffany (Antonio) Jackson, Candise (Larry) Jackson, and Chaquel Darling; son, Nathaniel (Rafeal) McDaniel-Walker; grandkids, Ty'Shanae Jackson, Nevaeh Brandon, Za'Niyah Jackson, Ariyonna White, Taniyah White, and Antonio White Jr.; and one great-granddaughter, Bryleigh Woods. Jeffrey was preceded in death by his mom, Ethel Hamilton; dad, James Jackson; sister, Jamesetta Jackson; brothers, William Ethridge, Richard Jackson, and Stacy Jackson; and sons, Jeffrey Jackson Jr., Sperry Walker, and Theodore Walker.

Jeffrey was loved by a host of family and friends; his special longtime friends, Shawn Jones, Micheal Bills, Mark Brown, Eric Hawthorne, Tracy Tatum, Willie (Country) Pigman; and special nephew, Corey Jackson.

God's Garden

God looked around his garden and found an empty space,

then He looked down upon this Earth and saw your tired face.

He put His arms around you and lifted you to rest.

God's garden must be beautiful he only takes the best.
