Jeanne Marie Ritner

Jeanne Marie Ritner, age 77, died Tuesday evening on April 17, 2018, at Ebeid Hospice, Flower Hospital. She was born on January 13, 1941 in Buffalo, NY. Her family moved to Toledo, where she graduated from Whimer High School in 1958. Along with being a mother and homemaker, Jeanne worked as a secretary for different companies until her retirement in 2004. Jeanne loved to travel, visiting Hawaii, Europe, Las Vegas and Mexico. She also loved to read and listen to music, especially Elvis. Jeanne always opened her home to her family and friends and it often became a focal point for large gatherings. It was being surrounded by those whom she loved which filled her with the most joy. Jeanne is survived by her husband, John; son Michael and sister, Phyllis. She was preceded in death by her parents, son, John David; sisters, Jeanette and Eileen; and brothers, Ronald and David. Friends and family are welcome to gather at her home on Sunday, April 22, 2018 from 1:00 PM until 6:00 PM to remember and celebrate her life.
