Her life is worth celebrating over and over again as little vignettes of Jeanne come to mind and elicit a smile or laugh. She also had a depth and thoughtfulness that enabled her to listen and hear more than the words you were saying by hearing the heart of whatever you meant to communicate.Jeanne was a long time member of the First Congregational Church, serving on the board of trustees at the local and national level. For over 25 years, she delivered meals for Mobile Meals. Later in life she was bitten by the travel bug. Her travel wardrobe was so well-coordinated that her suitcase was the smallest and lightest wherever her travels took her. There will be a memorial service in celebration of her life on Saturday, September 26 at 10:00 a.m. at the First Congregational Church, 2315 Collingwood Blvd., Toledo, OH 43615.
