Jean Marie Cappelletty

Jean M. Cappelletty, age 65 of Monclova, Ohio and Genacross Lutheran Services Wolfe Creek Campus, passed away peacefully on July 12, 2018. She was born in Toledo, Ohio on June 17, 1953 to Phillip and Gertrude Cappelletty. She graduated from Central High School, worked as a legal secretary and then as a nanny to Nicholas and Taylor. Throughout her life, Jean loved to create and share what she made with her friends and family. She baked cakes and candies for every celebration, big and small. She also transformed black and white drawings into intricate, colorful works of art that now line the walls of those she held dear. Despite her illness, Jean kept a positive attitude, brought a smile to the faces of many, and retained her strong spirit. She enjoyed getting outdoors and mowing the grass on the riding lawn mower which provided her skills later in life for driving her wheelchair fast and in circles. Jean will be deeply missed by her sisters and brothers, Joan (Dick), John (Rita), Dave, Diane, Don (Sue), and Jeff; 10 nieces and nephews, 10 great-nieces and nephews, and 4 godchildren. She was preceded in death by her mother Gertrude and father Phillip A. Cappelletty. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
