Janet L. Dile

Janet Lee Hanke Dile, age 67, passed away on Thursday, October 8, 2026, at The University of Toledo Medical Center. She was born on March 3, 1959, in Alton, Illinois, the daughter of the late Arthur E. and Alice M. (Bohn) Hanke.

Janet attended Mooseheart Child City Schools and loved her family dearly. She also enjoyed keeping her nails looking their best, always making sure they were perfectly polished and on point.

She is survived by her son, Anthony (Jess) Stephen; daughter, Nora Stephen (fiancé, Will Waller); grandchildren, Lexi, Kenzie, Paislee, Brandi, Christian, Tyler, Mckayla, and many great-grandchildren; siblings, Sherry (Trish), Nina, Chip (Howie), Kenny (Cindy); and lots of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death her parents, Arthur and Alice; two brothers, Fred and Brian; and daughter, Michelle Stephen.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
