Jane Rovnan

Jane F. Rovnan, age 87, passed away Sunday, Feb. 19, 2012 at the Astor House at Spring Meadows. She was born on March 12, 1924. She was a hairdresser for 40 years. Jane and her friend Marcella Scofield were co-owners of the Jan-Mar Beauty Salon on South and Champion. Jane is survived by her brother, Vern (Sue) Bowers; sister, Bonnie (Ted) Mohler; two special nephews, Larry (Carol) Bowers and Jeff Green; her God-daughter, Linda (Jim) Vollmar; and a large host of many loving nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her dearest friend, Pat Zickefoose, and good friend Jim Flynn. Jane was preceded in death by her loving husband, Paul; her siblings, Chuck Bowers, Howard Bowers, Treva Keeler, Pauline Yaney, and Frannie Green. The family extends a heartfelt thank-you to Evelyn and Georgia from the Astor House for their special care, also Odyssey Hospice and Interim Services. As per Janes wishes cremation has taken place and there were no services.
