Jana M. Bishop

Our dear Jana passed away peacefully on April 30. Jana was a gifted artist whose work adorned many area homes and institutions. Jana was known for her water color pieces specializing in family trees, house portraits, calligraphy, and large nature scenes. Jana was instrumental in establishing the Sylvania Area Historical Society. She loved her town and her neighbors-she will be greatly missed. Jana was the second of twelve Sullivan children who grew up in Sylvania on Garden Park. Jana was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was preceded in death by her son, Ben, her parents and several siblings. Left to honor her memory are her husband Bob, daughter Chrissy, stepson Christopher; her grandchildren Drew, Reed, Jim, and Wylie, Reno, and Mae; and great granddaughter Nova. The family wishes to thank the caring staff at Lakes of Sylvania and Promedica Hospice. Their care for Jana was exemplary. Services will be private.
