James W. Smalley

James “Jim” W. Smalley of Toledo, OH passed away on March 3, 2021 at the age of 94. He was born on August 6, 1926 in Sylvania, OH to Arza Smalley and Mildred (Kindig) Smalley. Jim served in the Army during World War II. He worked at the Post Office for 34 years. He is survived by his children, Deborah (Jim) Sturtz, Judy (Dennis) Gray and Mark Smalley; grandchildren, Matthew (Deanna) Ortiz, Jennifer (Andres) Valbuena, Stephen (Sharon) Gray, Valerie (Alan) Gladieux, Matthew Smalley, Richard (Julie) Smalley, Heather Gray, as well as 13 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Alice (Tatkowski) Smalley. Family requests any memorials be directed to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
