James G. Nassar

James G Nassar, age 72, of Toledo Ohio, passed away on December 22, 2025. Jim was born in Toledo, Ohio on October 9, 1953. He graduated from Sylvania High school and continued to receive a degree in finance from the University of Toledo.

Jim was married to Karen Nassar on September 14, 1996; they were married 29 years. In the beginning years of their marriage, they both loved sailing on cruises together and traveling the world.

He was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather. He brought everyone much joy with his funny jokes and teasing. He loved watching, and cheering for the Dallas Cowboys, the University of Michigan, and the LA Dodgers.

Out of all the career hats he has worn, being a poker dealer brought him the most joy. He worked as a poker dealer for many years at Hollywood Casino. He enjoyed playing poker with his beloved friends at the Reserve Poker Club. He made many good friends while playing there.

Jim is survived by his devoted, loving wife, Karen; his beloved children, Keith (Shirley), and Melissa (Tim); his sister Miriam; and his treasured grandchildren, Zachary, Isaiah, and Isabella, all of whom brought vast joy to his life.

Jim is preceded in death by his father, James G. Nassar Sr., and his mother, Esther M. Nassar.

The family of James G. Nassar wants to thank the Cremation Society of Toledo, The Beirut restaurant, and his hospice nurse, Rhonda for the enormous help during this time of sadness.

He will be deeply missed. God will take care of him now. May his memory bring happiness to everyone he knew.
