James E. Miller

James Edward Miller, age 73 passed away peacefully on September 21, 2021 under hospice care in Holland, Ohio. Jim was born in Perrysburg, Ohio on July 22, 1948. Jim was raised in Rossford, Ohio and was a loving son to his parent's Jim and Dolly and an ornery brother to his sisters Marcia and Vickie. Jim graduated from Rossford High School in 1966. Jim retired from Ford Motor Company as a Tool and Die Maker. Jim resided in Swanton, Ohio with his son Dan Miller and loved playing handball, boating and working on his Jeeps. Jim had an amazing love for his children, music and sports. Jim is survived by his son, Dan Miller, his daughter Melissa (Jerry) Spatny and 3 grandsons Nathan, Matthew and Nathan. Survivors also include his loving sisters, Marcia (Tom) Kovacik and Vickie (Guy) Hielscher, Uncle Jerry Miller and many nieces and nephews. Jim is also survived by the mother of his children, Sue Kimmet. Preceding Jim in death were his parents, James and Dolly Miller. A memorial gathering will be held on Tuesday, October 12, 2021 from 2-5 PM at the Cremation Society of Toledo located at 7210 Airport Highway, Holland, Ohio 43528.
