James Joseph McCormack, age 60, passed away on July 20, 2020. He was born in August 14, 1959 to the late George F. and Marlene (Komosinski) McCormack. James served 13 years in the Army National Guard as a heave machine operator and earned several medals and ribbons. James has spent the last 30 with the love of his life Sharon (pumpkin). He also had the joy of being a stepdad to Carla, Lori, and Rick (Roe). His greatest pride was his grandson, Todd, who gave him the name (Pepaw); they had a special bond. He was also blessed with sharing 7 other grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. James was always the jokester and made people laugh with his hilarious humor or made himself laugh by scaring you or complete strangers(in a good way). James loved kids and used to play Santa for his family Christmas’. He will be greatly missed. Those who have brought us joy, Made us laugh, and shown us love Have given us the lasting gifts of a beautiful life And blessed our memories forever. -Bonnie Rickner Jensen James is survived by sisters, Shari (Greg Norman) McCormack and Deborah (Greg) Schaefer; brothers, Mike (Deb) McCormack, George P. (LouAnn) McCormack and John (Christine Curtis) McCormack. We will have a celebration of life for James at later date.
