James E. Marshall Jr., age 70, of Waterville, Ohio, passed away peacefully on June 22, 2026, at Ayden Healthcare of Waterville. Jim was born on March 10, 1956.
He dedicated 31 years of service to the Village of Waterville Public Works Department, where he worked faithfully until his retirement. He took great pride in serving his community and was known for his strong work ethic, dependability, and willingness to lend a helping hand.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Anna Marshall; his sister, Debbie Essing; and his brother, Daniel Marshall. Jim is survived by his beloved wife and companion of 46 years, Pamela Marshall; his daughter, Chelsie (Jessica) Marshall; his son, Kyle (Kristi) Marshall; his grandsons, Roman and Corbin Marshall; his sister, Becky Briones; and several nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who will miss him dearly.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the compassionate nursing and facility staff at Ayden Healthcare of Waterville, as well as the caregivers of Heartland Hospice, for the care, comfort, and dignity they provided during Jim's final days.
A celebration of Jim's life will be held at a later date. Details will be announced by the family when arrangements have been finalized. Jim will be remembered for his dedication to his family, his years of service to his community, and the love he shared with those closest to him.
