James A Jackson

James Alex Jackson “Pookie”, of Toledo, OH, passed away peacefully on July 10, 2010, at Toledo Hospital. James was born in Toledo, OH, on November 24, 1960 to Jimmie Jackson and Esther (McNeil) Jackson. James was a graduate of Springfield High School. He successfully became an 18-Wheeler Semi-Truck Driver traveling across all 48 states. James was a dedicated member of Great Light Tabernacle Church, helping to ensure that church members and friends were transported to church and special events. He was a loving brother, cousin, friend and co-worker. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. James was preceded in death by his father and mother, and sister ,Angela Jackson ,of California. He is survived by his loving sister Denise Jackson of California, and Lessie Jennings of Holland, OH; 2 devoted cousins, Scott Hamer and Rhonda Houston and a host of other family members and friends. James will be missed most by his loving pet “Pop Tart”. A memorial service will be held in James memory on Saturday, July 17, 2010, 3:00 pm at Great Light Tabernacle Church, 735 S.
