James Holcomb, Jr.

James Edward Holcomb, Jr., age 65, passed away surrounded by his family at the Toledo Hospital on July 6, 2025. James was born on December 18, 1959 to his parents James Edward Holcomb, Sr., and Joyce (Smith) Holcomb.

James enjoyed spending time with family, watching NASCAR, and playing his bass guitar and drum set in many rock/country bands throughout his life.

James is preceded in death by his parents, James “Jim” and Joyce Holcomb.

Surviving James is his ex wife, Amy (Meadows) Fisher, mother of Jennifer Cooper (Nick Valkenhaus), April Reed, Christie (Shawn) Zimmerman, Jamie “Nicky” (Micah) Rheinholtz, James “Jay” (Tiffany) Holcomb; and his significant other, Shelley Heishman, mother of Adrianna Holcomb, Kylie Holcomb, and Makenzie Holcomb.

Also surviving James are his siblings, Gary (Kathy) Holcomb, Allen (Vickie) Holcomb, Debra (John) Tate, and Kevin (Becky) Holcomb; as well as many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
