James C. Ray, age 66, of Toledo, passed away Thursday, December 22, 2016 at Heartland Extended Care Facility after a lengthy hospital stay. Jim was born on July 5, 1950 to Clifton and Violet (Bailey) Ray in Toledo. He worked as a courier for various companies over 40 years. Prior to that, he served in the United States Army as a Military Policeman in Japan.” His creative talents were never fully realized, but were used throughout his life in various capacities that are remembered with fondness. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his sister, Patricia Ray. Left to cherish his memory are his sister, Joyce Millimen; nephews, Rich (Amy) Adkins, Phil (Marsha) Lawson, Paul Lawson, Mel (Shelby) Millimen Jr., Clif (Sarah) Millimen, 8 great nieces, 4 great nephews, as well as 4 great, great nephews and 1 great, great niece, and his beloved furry buddy, Schroeder. Visitation will be held at Foundation Stone Church, 4532 Woodville Road, Northwood, Ohio on Saturday, January 7, 2017 from 10:00 AM until the time of the Memorial Service at 11:00 AM. Memorial Contributions can be made to Foundation Stone Church.
