James A Bristow

James “Jim” A. Bristow, age 66, passed peacefully on January 20, 2013 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Toledo. Jim is survived by his daughter, Kim (Aaron) Dilloway; grandchildren, Emily and Nick Dilloway; sisters, Donna Jean Ryan, Janice (Donald) Bench, Judy (Allen) Yockey, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Violet Bristow, and his sister, Jane Bristow. Jim graduated from Northwood High School in 1964 and went on to have a successful career in Information Technology. He was employed in IT with The Andersons, Lucas County Children Services Board, The Medical College of Ohio, Lucas County Board of MRDD, Clifton Gunderson, and The Catholic Diocese of Toledo. There will be a Memorial Service held at a later date. The family wishes to extend a heartfelt Thank You to Dr. David Brown, Hospice of Northwest Ohio, and to Barb Henderson and Linda Bristow for their kindness and compassion. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a donation in honor of Jim are asked to consider St. Ursula Academy, Toledo School for the Arts, and Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
