James R. Blair, Jr.

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of James R. Blair, Jr. He was born February 26th, 1981 in Toledo, OH, to Erma Patton and James R. Blair, Sr. He left this world on March 21st, 2023 in Holland, OH. He was 42 years old and preferred to be called Blair, Dumarest, or Panda by those who knew him.

Blair always had a passion for computers and technology, and he was recently employed as a Network Administrator Contractor for First Solar. His family was small, but he considered all his friends to be his family as well. His hobbies included video games, watching movies and TV Shows, weekly pool games, and spending time with friends. He enjoyed discussing his passions with anyone who would listen, and he was an extremely kind and generous person. He was a firm believer that “A stranger is just a friend I haven’t met yet.”

Blair was preceded in death by his mother, Erma Patton; sister, Mary Blair; half-sister, Susan Baldwin; and uncle, Chester (Marlene) Blair. He is survived by his father, James R. Blair, Sr.

A Celebration of Life ceremony will be held on Sunday, April 2nd, 2023 at The Lodge at Strawberry Acres Park, located at 950 S. McCord Ave., Holland, OH, 43528, and it is open to the public. An Open House will start at 1:00 PM with the ceremony scheduled to start at 2:00 PM. Guests are invited to stay for a reception immediately following the ceremony.
