Jacqueline F. Wilcox

July 15, 1939 — November 9, 2021

Jacqueline Fay Wilcox, 82, of Rossford, OH passed away on November 9, 2021. She was born in Webster Springs, WV on July 15, 1939 to Kelly and Ressie (Payne) Wilson. Jackie was a loving wife of 61 years to her husband David and a wonderful mother to her four children; Nanette, John (Tresa), Karen Zielinski, and Chris (Ronnell). She loved being a grandmother to her ten grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Jackie enjoyed traveling to large family gatherings and reunions during the summer and holidays. An avid cook and an excellent hostess, Jackie would make sure to have her signature dishes ready for her family’s and guests’ enjoyment. And of course, the coffee pot was always on! When not cooking or entertaining, Jackie took delight in winning at cards. She could be counted on to know when, where and what time the next NASCAR race would happen. She was a Hallmark movie enthusiast and, by her own account, has seen every one of them. Jackie was preceded in death by her son John; brothers Bill, Allen, and Gordon Wilson; sisters Vivian Jacklitch and Virgina Keck. A celebration of life will be held at the Fraternal Order of Eagles, 658 Lime City Rd, Rossford, OH 43460 on December 4, from 1pm to 6pm. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Cherry St. Mission Ministries of Toledo, OH or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
