Jack Allen Lowery of Toledo unexpectedly passed away on October 3, 2020 at the age of 77. Jack was born on March 8, 1943 in Detroit, Michigan to the parents of James Henry Lowery and Virginia M Larrow. Jack met the love of his life Kathryn Decant at the age of 16 on a boat to Boblo Island. He married her on September 23, 1961. They were married for 59 years. Jack was a machinist at Cleveland Metal and a mechanic. Jack loved taking things apart like radios and machinery and then putting them back together. His hobbies were ham radios and rebuilding furniture. He loved joking around with family and friends. He always looked to the brighter side of any situation. His favorite place to travel was the Smokey Mountains. Jack was a long dedicated member of Jehovah Witnesses. He is survived by his wife, Kathryn, his son Alan Lowery, daughter Cindy Markovich and his sister Carol Jackson, as well as five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by James H. Lowery and Virginia Larrow. Private family services. Any contributions in Jack’s name can be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
