Irvin "Irv" Bruno

Irvin "Irv" C. Bruno, a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend, passed away on January 17, 2023, at the age of 83. Born in Toledo, Ohio on February 9, 1939, Irvin was the son of Frank and Ruth Bruno. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. After his service, Irv worked as a housing contractor and was known for his skilled craftsmanship and dedication to his work.

In his free time, Irv was an avid Ohio State football fan and loved spending time in his garden. He also had a love for antique cars and restoration. He was a kind and generous man who always put his family first.

He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Judy Bruno; his sons, Jeff Bruno and Steve Bruno; and his stepchildren, Heather Smolinski and Brandon Gott. He was a loving grandfather to Brandon, Melissa, and Brooke; and a loving step-grandfather to Alexa, Morgan, and Alex. He was proud of his great-grandchildren, Madeline, Grayson, and Luna. Irv was preceded in death by his brother, Orlando; his sons, Mike Bruno and Mark Bruno; and his stepsiblings, June, Vera, and Jimmy. Irv will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. His kind heart, quick wit, and love for his family will be forever remembered.
