Holly D. Gillespie

Holly D. Gillespie, 68, of Toledo, Ohio passed away peacefully in her sleep Monday December 15, 2025.

Born October 22, 1957, to Robert and Charlotte Prossen. Holly lived her life in peace and love. She loved and adored her children and grandchildren. Holly spent most of her life as a jeweler and an excellent chef. She loved to cook for everyone, and her friends and family savored her cooking.

In the recent year, Holly beat cancer. With the support of her family and her strong will, she overcame, she was a fighter.

Holly is survived by her loving husband of more than 30 years, Richard K. Gillespie, her soulmate; Children, Tiffney (Jason) Alvarado, Mark (Heidi) Kazmaier, Jacob (Jaime) Sheskey, Sara Sheskey and Sarah Todd; Grandchildren, Jaidyn, Karter, Annabelle, Ava, Meeya, Macie, Austin, Aubrey, Kaden, Layla, and her absolute favorite Caleb; Sisters, Stacey (Joe) Gonzeles and Christy Prossen; Siblings, Kim (Mike) McGowan, Karen (Sean) Crayne and Gary Gillespie.

She was proceeded in death by her parents, Robert and Charlotte Prossen; mother-in-law, Sally Gillespie; sisters, Kelly Seambos and Kendra Gillespie.

Holly will be deeply missed by her family. They will forever cherish the pool days and her delicious cookouts. She was ready for Christmas and excited for her annual Christmas party. Her family will honor her with that special celebration.
